Interest in Special Equities
The court erred in requiring defendant to convey his one-half interest of plaintiff since she did not demonstrate special equities in the residence under former section 18 of the Divorce Act.
The contributions described by the plaintiff: the raising of chickens, daily trips to fill stock feeders, the hauling of grain and fertilizer, and keeping the farm accounts, fell into the category of services normally performed in the marriage relation and could not serve to establish “special equities.”
